Abbotsford Airport becomes the first "Sky Station" for Cascadia Air commuter passengers.

We’re excited to open our scheduled commuter flights from Abbotsford Airport to Campbell River. Cascadia travelers and residents of the Tri-Cities and Fraser Valley area can now choose between Pitt Meadows and Abbotsford Airport to fly to Campbell River.

“We’ve had nothing but great customer reviews and community support on our services to Campbell River from Pitt Meadows. Providing flights to Vancouver Island directly from the Tri-Cities and Fraser Valley area will save consumers valuable time and dollars from a long commute into Vancouver just for a short flight,” said Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer Jeremy Barrett.

Abbotsford Airport will also be the first airport to become a “Sky Station” for our airline. A Sky Station is simply a “Bus Stop” where passengers meet our aircrew before their scheduled flight. Sky Stations reduce costly overhead for our airline while maintaining stimulating economic activities for our airport partnerships. Using mobile and other technologies to manage our passenger schedules will still provide our customers with excellent services and consistent affordability.

We’re planning on opening other Sky Station airports in the Fraser Valley area in the coming months, including additional destinations to Vancouver Island and Sunshine Coast. For more information on our Sky Stations, please visit our Travel and Service policies page on our website.
